Bronsea is a tanning accelerator designed to help you achieve a deeper, more enhanced tan.

We currently offer two separate products: Our Tanning Cream and Tanning Balm. They are not designed to be used together, and both are equally effective.

The Tanning Cream can be used for both outdoor tanning and sunbeds, while the Tanning Balm is designed for outdoor tanning only.

You can also purchase the Duo to save money.

What does Bronsea smell like?
Bronsea currently comes in two lightly scented options: Coconut Balm and Mango Cream. Both have a subtle, fresh scent designed to complement your tanning experience.

What is the difference between the cream and balm?
Both products are designed to help you achieve a deeper, more enhanced tan and are equally effective.

The Tanning Cream is suitable for both outdoor tanning and sunbeds, making it the better option if you use sunbeds. The Tanning Balm is designed for outdoor tanning only and has a richer, more oily consistency.

They are two separate products and are not designed to be used together.

How much product do I get?
Both the Bronsea Tanning Cream and Tanning Balm contain 200ml of product.

Do I need to patch test Bronsea?
Yes. We recommend patch testing the product before your first full application.

No. Bronsea does not contain SPF or provide UV protection. It should not be used as a substitute for sunscreen.

Can I use Bronsea with sunscreen?
Yes. Bronsea should always be used alongside sun cream when tanning outdoors. Bronsea does not contain SPF, so it does not protect your skin from UV rays. Without sun cream, you can burn. Always apply a suitable SPF and follow sun-safety guidance.

No. Bronsea is a tanning accelerator, not a traditional self-tanner. It is designed to help enhance and deepen your natural tan when tanning in the sun or on a sunbed, rather than instantly colouring the skin.

Which product is right for me?
It depends on the texture you prefer. The Cream has a lighter texture, while the Balm has a richer, more oily feel. If you use sunbeds, we recommend choosing the Cream as it offers a convenient two-in-one option for both outdoor tanning and use on sunbeds.

Which is better for dry skin?
Both can be used on dry skin. The Balm has a richer texture, while the Cream feels lighter on the skin.

Can I switch between the Cream and Balm?
Yes, you can switch between the Cream and Balm depending on your preferred texture.

Can I use the Cream and Balm together?
No, there is no need to use them together. They are designed to be used separately, so simply choose the product you prefer.

Why does the Balm change consistency?
The Balm can soften or melt when exposed to heat or direct sunlight. This is completely normal. Once returned to room temperature, it will harden back to its original consistency.

Apply Bronsea before tanning and reapply after swimming or whenever the product has worn off. For outdoor tanning, always use Bronsea alongside a suitable sun cream.

How should I store it?
Store Bronsea in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Always keep the lid securely closed when not in use.

Does the balm melt?
Yes. Due to its natural ingredients, the balm may soften or melt when exposed to heat or direct sunlight. This is completely normal. Once returned to room temperature, it will harden back to its original consistency.

Please be careful when opening the balm, especially if it has been exposed to heat, as the contents may be softer or more liquid than usual.

What is your returns policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the product is unused, unopened and in its original condition. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

Can I return an opened product?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on opened or used products for hygiene reasons.

How do I return my order?
To request a return, please email us at bronseatan@gmail.com with your order number and reason for the return. We’ll then provide you with the return instructions.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the damage, and we’ll be happy to help.

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. We aim for processing times of 1 day.
On the occasional busy day, some Tracked 48 orders may not be processed the same day.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location. Tracked shipping is included in all orders.

Orders placed after 1PM will be processed the following working day, including orders selected for Next Day Delivery.

Can I change or cancel my order?
No. Once an order has been placed, we are unable to make changes or cancellations. Please make sure all order details are correct before completing your purchase.

We currently offer Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Royal Mail Tracked 48. You can select your preferred delivery option at checkout.

Do you offer Next Day Delivery?
Yes. We offer Royal Mail Tracked 24, which aims to deliver on the next working day after your order has been processed.

What happens if I order after 1PM?
Orders placed after 1PM will be processed the following working day. This also applies to orders selected for Next Day Delivery.

Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship to the UK and Ireland. We’re working hard to offer worldwide shipping in the future.

How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow your parcel’s progress.

What happens if my parcel is delayed?
Although we aim to get every order to you as quickly as possible, delivery times can occasionally be affected by Royal Mail delays. If your parcel is delayed, please use your tracking information for the latest update or contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Do I need to patch test Bronsea?
Yes. We recommend patch testing Bronsea before your first use. Apply a small amount to a small area of skin and wait to check for any reaction before applying more widely.

Are there any ingredients I should be aware of?

Bronsea may be suitable for sensitive skin, but everyone’s skin is different. We recommend carrying out a patch test before use. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
